A couple of years ago I bought a Husqvarna Viking Mega Quilter on a Grace frame. Now the frame came with an extension but where the machine is it won’t be staying. If I was to put the extension on we would never get it out of the room. So I took the machine off the frame and I moved it on to a table. This left the frame unused so I took the rollers off the frame and my wonderful husband cut me a piece of timber to inlay within the frame. So I now have a long table that can use to baste a quilt or to hold current blocks.
The blocks on the table at the moment are Quilts as you go blocks from the Happiness quilt designed by Monica Poole for the Homespun magazine in 2014. Here are a few of the blocks.
I also had some fabric arrive this week. It was Tula Pink’s new line called De La Luna. I bought this from Polka Dot Tea Fabrics on Etsy here in Australia.
See you next time
